It was raining cats and dogs in the beautiful city of Las Vegas. The whole Graveyard shift was in the locker room getting ready to go home for the day. Catherine and Sara had left already since Sara had overheated her Tahoe again because she was a madwoman on the streets and Catherine offered to give her a ride home, she didn't mind since it was on her way home.

Nick, Warrick and Grissom were in the locker room when Nick opened up his locker and a pink folded letter fell to the ground. Nick squatted down and picked it up he sat down on the bench and opened the folded piece of paper. Warrick slammed his locker shut and sat down beside Nick.

"Hey what do you have there?"

"A love letter I guess"

"Well read it out loud man"

"Okay, roses are red violates are blue sugar is sweet and your cute too, love you Nick. From your secret admirer."

"Sounds like someone has a crush on you Nick!" Grissom said and patted the younger CSI on his back.

"Well I'm going to find out"

The next evening Grissom came into work early and he walked into his office. Sitting on his desk was a vase full of red roses. He picked up the card and read it out loud.

"Hey bug man hope you enjoy these red roses Love your secret admirer"

Grissom could smell something that was sweet so he then smelt the card and it had that smell. Catherine then appeared at the door and gave him a quizzed look.

"Grissom, hun, whatcha doing smelling a card and were did you get those beautiful red roses there my favorite. You didn't get these for me did you?" she said seductively.

"Ah, no, sorry hun, I got them from someone read the card they left me?" Grissom replied and handed the card to Catherine.

She read it over and smelt the card herself. She smiled and handed it back to Grissom. She gave him a kiss and spun on her heel heading towards the door.

"Hey! What did you think of the card?" Grissom called after her.

Catherine turned back around and went towards his desk "Well I would have to say that she has very nice smelling shampoo and I've smelt it before" she took one of the roses and walked out of the room.

"Well were did you smell it before?"

"You can figure that out bugman" she called as she walked down the hallway and then laughed to herself.

Nick was sitting in the break room reading a magazine when Sara walked into the room and gave Nick a kiss in the neck. Nick spun around and spotted Sara smiling at him.

"Hey their cutie!" Sara said all happily.

"hey sweetheart, I need you to see this letter someone put in my locker"

"Okay." Sara replied and took the letter out of Nick's hands. She unfolded it and read the poem to herself and smiled.

"What are you smiling about?"

"The poem it's true you are cute! Love you Nick" Sara said and gave him one more kiss before she left.

Nick looked at the poem and read the last sentence to himself. It was the same as what Sara just said. Sara met Catherine down the hallway and they winked at each other and kept going in the opposite direction. Grissom came into the break room and sat down beside Nick. Nick kept looking at the letter he found in his locker last night.

"Any luck with finding out who your secret admirer is?" Grissom asked.

"Not yet but do you have a sheet of paper with Sara's handwriting on it?"

"Yes, why?"

"Because I have a hunch on who my secret admirer is"

"Alright come with me to my office, I'll give you her latest report to use for comparison"

The two men went back to Grissom's office and Nick noticed the red roses and checked out the card while Grissom was searching for Sara's report.

"You got one too huh Griss?" Nick said and compared the handwriting of Grissom's to his and they didn't match

" Well at least we know it's two different woman, but your card smells like Catherine's shampoo"

Grissom looked up when Nick said that and handed Nick Sara's latest report. He then took out Catherine's as well.

"Was it something I said?"

"Yeah I have a hunch on mine 2"

They brought their letters and samples to Mathew there handwriting analysis.

"Mat, I need you to compare this letter to this report" Nick said holding up his letter and Sara's report

"Alright well the 's' in sugar matches the 's' in suspect on Ms. Sidles report and the 'v' in violet matches the 'v' in victim meaning that Ms. Sidle wrote both pieces of writing" Matt concluded to Nick as he handed the stuff back to him.

"Thanks Mat you're the best"

"Can you compare mine as well Matt?" Gil asked

"No, problem Nick, and sure thing Grissom. Well the 'a' in admirer matches the 'a' in apartment on Mrs. Willows report, the 'r' in red and roses matches the 'r' in revolver which means that Mrs. Willows wrote both of these documents"

"Thanks Mat"

"No problem just doing my job"

Nick and Grissom headed back to the break room and they saw Sara and Catherine talking together. The men walked in and the girls stopped talking.

"So what have you two been up 2?" Catherine asked

"Nothing" they answered in unison

"well then why do you mine and Catherine's latest reports in your hands as well as you love letter from secret admirers?" Sara questioned

Grissom and Nick hid the pieces of paper behind their backs and shook their heads "No reason" they said.

"You didn't by any chance go to Mat, and ask him to compare the writing samples now did you hun?" Catherine asked eagerly

"Matt? No I was just reviewing your reports with Nick and excellent job both of you, as usual" Grissom blushed

"What about you cutie? Did you go see Matt?" Sara asked sweetly

"No way Sarbear, plus I gave up on finding out who it was"

"Grissom you're blushing, which means your lying! You got Matt to analyze the report again the love not I.I mean some girl gave you! What were the results!" Catherine screamed

"Your lying to Nick! When you look at the floor that means your lying! What were the results to mine too!" Sara raised her voice and slapped Nick across the face.

Catherine looked at Sara smiled at her action. Grissom noticed that and got even more suspicious of them writing the letters.

"Damn girl you slap hard! Anyway the results of both tests were that Sara wrote mine and Catherine wrote Grissom's so what have you two girls been up 2 for the past 2 days?"

The girls look innocently at each other and shrugged "We haven't been up to anything except working, so Matt must be wrong" Catherine said in a serious tone.

"Well look into my eyes and say that" Nick said.

Sara looked deep into Nicks eyes and repeated what Catherine just said two seconds ago.

"Well we could always give you girls a lie detector test, that will prove once and for all if you're lying or not" Grissom stated

The look of worry went across both girls faces when Grissom announced that suggestion.

"Now, now don't you think you guys are getting a little carried away with this, I mean your taking it way to seriously" Catherine Stuttered.

"What's the matter are you scared? If you have nothing to hide then a lie detector test should be easy for you right?" Nick asked

"Okay I." Sara started to say but Catherine clamped her hand over Sara's mouth before she could say anymore.

"Sara was just saying that she had some paperwork to do right Sara?" Catherine replied as she kicked Sara slightly in the foot and Sara nodded her head in agreement.

"No Cath, I think Sara was going to say that she wrote my letter write Sara?" Nick asked and Sara shook her head.

"Come on Sara let's go do that paperwork"

The two girls left the break room and went around the corner out of sight of the boys. Catherine took her hand off Sara's mouth and gave her the evil eye. Little did the girls know that the boys were listening from the other side of the corner.

"You almost gave us away we have to keep them guessing until later okay?" Catherine whispered.

"Okay sorry, thanks for bailing me out Cath" Sara replied.

"AHHA! We caught you! Now we know who wrote the letters" Nick yelled

"I guess you havem you caught us fair and square" Sara repleied.

Both girls went over to them and gave them a kiss and whispered Happy Anniversary into each of the guys ears. They walked away laughing as the guys stood their in bewilderment.

"What is the day today Griss?" Nick asked

"The 16th of March"

"Holy cow it has really been one year for me and Sara and 2 years for you and Catherine and al along we had no idea it was our anniversary?"

"I guess so, whoa were really dumb, I guess I better go get Catherine a gift, she said she like red roses" Grissom stated.

"Yeah you can say that again, I better get Sara a gift to, do you think she would like a plant?" Nick asked as they left the lab to go get their girlfriends Anniversary gifts.
