Chapter 1

Catherine sat in the locker room on the bench absent-mindedly gazing inside her locker at the pictures of she and Gil that covered the inside of the blue metal door.

"Hey lovesick." Warrick greeted her.

"Huh…"

"You're staring at those hot pics of you and your honey like a lovesick puppy. But you don't look so happy."

"That obvious huh?"

"Trouble in paradise?"

"I'm not sure." Catherine sighed

"Why what's wrong?"

Warrick sat on the bench and put his arm around his blonde friend's shoulders. "You can tell me ya know."

"I know." Catherine let out a deep breath before becoming the Catherine they all knew and loved, her voice happy as can be. "Okay, as long this conversation does not leave the locker room."

"What conversation?" Warrick confirmed

Catherine smiled, knowing he would not violate her trust. "Oh I don't know if I should tell you. It's rather…personal, for lack of a better word."

"Bedroom trouble. You know what, I don't know if I want to know all the intimate details." He began, shaking his head, standing to leave

"Warrick, you said you'd listen." Catherine reminded, tossing him her puppy dog eyes she knew no one could refuse.

He sat back down with a long sigh. "You're right. Continue."

"I promise I won't gross you out. The problem is not….well, Gil and I are so happy War….I mean two people shouldn't be allowed to be as happy as we are, as in love as we are. So perfect together. Ya know." Catherine rambled on like a woman in love.

"I know. I see you two. It's disgusting really." He joked.

"And we haven't slept together before last night. Our romantic getaway."

"You mean, not once before…..whoa man….did not see that one coming."

"Nope."

"I would have thought for sure….damn Cath!"

"I know, I know. Look we wanted it to be special and everything…and it was, or it started out that way…"

"I'm confused Cath…"

"Okay….Gil and I have no sexual chemistry. That's it. That's the problem."

"How is that even possible? Man, you and Griss naw…impossible…I mean you can cut through the tension with a knife."

"I know. I want him so badly every time I smell his cologne or when his beard tickles my skin, when he kisses, me…and I know he wants me too….but when we actually…after all the foreplay, it was like….nothing. And he did everything right, it was like...just not happening. We're sooo good everywhere else, and I love him more than anything, but the sex…I faked it War. I've never had to fake it."

"You faked?" Warrick gasped, flabbergasted by Catherine's confession.

"Yup." Catherine nodded somerly

"Did he know you…?"

`I don't think so…"

"Did he?"

"Yep."

"Do you think he thought it was good?"

"I don't know. We only did it that once the whole weekend. So he couldn't have thought it was…Guys can't fake it right?"

"Not that I know of. You two didn't talk about this?"

"Nope. Afterwards we cuddled and made out, fell asleep. Then the rest of the weekend was great. Neither of us brought it up."

"So it's possible he felt it too then?"

"I suppose. But I can't just tell him I faked it."

"Maybe it was just because it was the first time. Maybe you expected too much."

"Maybe, maybe we tried too hard to make it special." Catherine agreed.

"Try it again, see what happens."

"I will, thanks War." Catherine hugged him.
