Chapter 1

Catherine walked into Gil’s office, a little extra sway in her hips. They had been dancing around the issue for awhile but could both feel the chemistry that was building between them.

Gil raised his head just enough to look her square in the hips and got lost in her movements. God he loved her hips. Well he hadn’t seen them up close and personal but he loved them in her pants and he did not doubt that he would love them in the flesh.

“Gil!” Catherine said for the third time. When she had his attention she flashed him one of her beaming smiles, “See something you like?” She had a challenging smile on her face daring him to answer. She knew what he would say, what he would do, but she was hoping that he would surprise her.

“Sorry Catherine, I was just thinking about this case. What did you say?” Gil had heard what she had said, loud and clear. He did like what he saw and he did want it, he just did not think that she wanted the same thing.

Catherine sighed, “Nothing Gil. I was just coming to say goodnight, I’m heading home.”

“Already?” Gil looked at his watch and realized that it was actually the end of shift. He was so caught up in the case that he had not even realized how late it was. He was not too tired and was hoping Catherine was feeling the same, “Well are you busy? Maybe you want to get some breakfast.”

Catherine’s smile returned, “Sure, just let me grab my coat.” She did not want to get her hopes up but she was excited at any extra time she got to spend with Gil. She was sure that she did not feel the same about her as she did about him. Catherine could actually define what she felt for Gil. She never let herself think about her feelings. She did not like to fantasize about something that she was sure would not happen. She tried to bury her feelings and ignore the urges that she felt when she was around Gil. It was hard but Catherine knew it was the only way she could work with him and see him everyday.

As Catherine left his office Gil watched her backside and smirked. What a beautiful woman he thought. He grinned at his revelation. He could not think of another way to describe her. She was everything to him. She was perfect. Granted Catherine did make her fair share of mistakes, she was human. Gil thought that each made her more beautiful as they made her more of the person that he had grown to love. Not only that but he could stare at her body for days. He closed his eyes when she left his line of vision and imaged her standing in front of him, his arms wrapped around her slowly moving upwards from her tight stomach to her…

His thoughts were interrupted by a noise at his door. Gil opened his eyes to see the object of his desires standing in front of him, “Something wrong Gil?”

“Um,” Gil stalled for a moment. “No, no, um…that’s okay, I mean I’m okay. Sorry, I’m just a little stressed.”

At that Catherine began to move behind the desk. Gil gave her a questioning look but she continued and moved behind his chair. He tensed for a moment when she first put her hands on his shoulders, “Come on Gil, breath and relax.” Gil took her advice and slowly leaned into Catherine’s touch and let his eyes fall shut. His breathing became even and he let out a quiet moan when Catherine moved her hands to his scalp, “Oh Catherine! That feels amazing!” Gil was taken aback by his confession and was afraid that Catherine might take it the wrong way.

Catherine moved her mouth down beside Gil’s ear, “I love to make you feel good.” She whispered in a throaty voice. Gil let out another moan at the feeling of Catherine’s lips so close to his body. Catherine’s mouth curled up in a grin at the realization that her actions were producing the kind of reaction in Gil that she was hoping for. She leaned in closer to his ear, “I could make you feel better than…”

Catherine stood up abruptly when a knock sounded at the door. She cursed herself for not closing it earlier. Sarah stood in front of them with a slightly upset look on her face, “I’m sorry, did I interrupt something?” She looked between Gil and Catherine.

Catherine made her way out from behind the desk. Gil cleared his throat, “Um, no,” he paused a moment gaining his composure, “No, that’s fine Sarah, can I help you with something?”

“No, I just wanted to say have a good evening. So, yeah, have a good evening.” And with that Sarah was gone. She quickly made her way down to the locker room try to get away from Gil’s office as fast as she could, obviously aware that she had interrupted something.

Catherine and Gil were quiet for a moment neither knowing what to say. Finally Catherine broke the silence, “Gil, why don’t we go get that breakfast.” Gil blinked at her for a moment wondering if she was going to ignore the comment she had almost made. A smile formed on her lips at the questioning look on Gil’s face, “Your place or mine?”

Gil let out a breath he had not even noticed that he was holding and smiled, “Why not yours, you probably have better food.”

“Sounds like a plan. I’ll meet you there.” And with that she was heading out of his office. Just as she reached the door Catherine turned on her heels and looked Gil straight in the eyes, “By the way Gil, I could you know?” She did not even wait for him to question her, “Make you feel better than amazing.” She gave him a wink and a flirty smile and was on her way.

Gil let out a quiet moan at Catherine’s confession and wondered how fast he could drive to make the trip to her house even shorter.
