"Its My Birthday I shouldnt be doing this on my Birthday" Catherine sighed with all that she'd been through she felt older then she really was,She looked at the scene in front of her the infant was barely even a month old discarded in a trash can .Catherine Touched her own slightly Bulging stomach and Sighed "Who would do this to a helpless child" She wiped a tear as she began to process the crime scene

"Sometimes I'd like to quit,Nothing ever seems to fit"

Warrick Brown startled her when he stood next to her "You okay Cath" He questioned, Looking into his Green eyes she tried to lie to him "i'm fine" but Warrick knew her better then that "you know I can just call Griss right now ,tell him you're upset .He'll send you home in a heartbeat ,he wouldnt want anything to happen to you or that baby of yours" ,He grinned. Catherines Own Blue Green Orbs met his "why am I even here?" She pondered with tears in her eyes . Warrick smiled at her reassuringly "because you love your job because you love people" .She took a deep breath as more tears threatened to spill "sometimes I wonder why I even do what I do anymore, its not like anyone really cares anymore" Warrick tried to reason with her 'Thats not true Cath and you know it" But she tuned his words out as she continued to process her scene

"Hanging around Nothing to do but frown"

She frowned down at the young infant child .She was Miserable ,maybe it was her own hormones that were out of whack or Maybe it was just the fact that she was yet another year older and the man she loved was on a different case instead of with her But her heart weeped.

when David the young Coroner arrived he found Catherine over the Young child her hair sopping wet and her eyes filled with Tears "you look awful Cath" He said to her .Looking up at him through her tear streaked eyes she simply replied "Gee Thanks David thats exactly what I wanted to hear" her sarcasm filled the air .David felt bad and tried to redeem himself "I'm sorry. I didnt mean it that way I just.....Are you okay?" He asked worriedly knowing full well that if she wasnt Grissom would want to hear about it ."I just want to get back to the lab and out of the rain" she answered back but in her Mind she thought "and back in the arms of the man I love"
