It started out as a normal night in the lab Brass walked in and introduced the new lab tech "guys this is Kira Grissom, hey Gil you look like you just seen a ghost?"

" I don't know who or how someone found out but this is a sick joke". Grissom said .

"Hey Gris what are you talking about" Nick asked Grissom just had a sad look as he turned toward Nick.

"About 16 years ago before I came to Vegas I was married to a girl named Kira and I killed her!" everyone looked kinda shocked at that statement.

Warrick piped up "yo man thats not funny the girls standing there she says thats her name and she looks very much alive to me. Besides I cant see you killing anyone! So whats up?"

Grissom just shook his head "We were married about 3 months when I was going through some papers and found a birth certificate it was Kira's it said she was only 16 and all that time she'd lead me to believe she was 22. I was shocked and angry I suddenly felt our marriage was based on a lie and I began wonder what others she'd told. That and the thought that I'd been making love to a child who I found out was expecting a child I felt sick, So we ended up in one hell of a yelling match I was accusing her of all kinds of stuff guess I was a little jealous that in itself was a strange feeling for me, but she got very upset and went running out the door said she was going out in her boat and that maybe when she got back we could have a normal talk and less yelling."

"You are being melodramatic Gil besides I'm very much alive and you had no business going through my papers.and you just assumed that just because I was taking some classes at the college oh yeah and you saw me at the campus bar hey what are fake IDs for, besides age was never brought up in any conversation. Like Gil and his roller coasters when I was upset or needed to think I went out in my sailboat."

Brass looked at Gil "now you've got my curiosity peeked how do you feel that you killed her as she says shes very much alive?"

Gil gave everyone a funny look and a sick chuckle and said "then she looks a lot like her but that can't be her and besides I didn't actually kill her myself but I was responsible she didn't come home that night i went to work the next day and left her a note to call me and we'd talk after work. I never got a call but shortly after I arrived home there was a knock at the door and I was informed that they had found the wreckage of my wife's boat but no sign of her body and that they would continua to search for 3 more days, but they held out little hope of her body being found. A month later I took the job here and made my work my life. So miss whatever your name is who are you and how did you know about Kira."

"Oh Gil with you it always proof do you want personally secrets like the time we set off the smoke alarm because we ended up making love on the table an let supper burn, or how being funny I went out and bought the book on the different sexual positions and we were going to try them all but we had only ... "Gil got an embarrassed look and stoped her from saying anymore,

Nick pipes up "aw come on Gris it was just getting interesting."

"Now do you believe I'm who I say I am there's a lot more very personal stuff I could say that I know would convince you."

Gil gives her a sad look and says "no thats ok I believe you I have only one question", the look has now changed to anger "what the Hell happened and where the Hell have you been???"

Kira gave him a small smile and as she walked out the door said: "That will have to wait I came here to work so I'm going to my lab"
