Catherine was in the locker room when she heard a loud noise coming from outside. She went for the door but it was locked. So, she went to the back of the locker room and when she came to the back door, she saw Eddie waiting for her! "What do you want Eddie? I thought Gil...I mean Grissom told you not to come back here?"

"He did! Were you getting personal with his name? Were you?"

"No, it just slipped Eddie."

"Whatever, I just came to tell you that you are going to die today." After he said that he put a 9 mm gun to her head.

"Eddie, please. What do you want?"

"I want you to go and tell your boyfriend 'Gil' that you can't be with him. After that, you are coming with me to live with."

"No, I'm not going to do that. Grissom and I just got together and I'm not going to ruin that just because of you."

"Yes, you are or I'm going to kill you." Eddie demanded.

"Fine, but don't kill me and don't kill Grissom."

"Maybe that is a good idea. I mean kill him. Now, if you want you and him to survive than go and tell Gil. Your life and where is Lindsey in all of this? Where is she in your new life?"

"She's there. She loves Gil and Gil loves her!"

"Oh really and she doesn't care about me anymore!"

"No, I didn't say that. Of course she loves you. You are her father." After she said that a familiar noise came out from behind them.

"Eddie, drop the gun. I mean it Eddie."

"Why should I? You're a big boy. Come and make me. GIL!"

"NO!" Catherine said but it was to late. The gun exploded in the air and hit Grissom in the chest and another in the stomach. It was then that she took all of her strength and kicked Eddie in the groin and elbowed him in the stomach. He fell backwards and stumbled upon the bench in the locker room. At this time she picked up the gun and shot Eddie in the shoulder.

"Catherine, what did you do?" Warrick said screaming in the hallway. As he unlocked the door she ran over to Eddie and kept him down until Warrick reached him.

"Hold him Warrick. I have to go get Grissom back to life." She said crying her heart out. "Gil, Gil. Please wake up! Please." As she was pushing down on his wounds, she heard Grissom moan and...

"Ouch, that hurts. Why are you on top of me?" Grissom asked confused.

"Because you were shot. I'm stopping the bleeding."

"Oh. Cath, I love you!!!" He said while wiping the tears from her face.

"I love you too, Gil! I love you too!" It was then that he blacked out.
