BANG! BANG! BANG!

"GIL!!!" Catherine Willows screamed at the top of her lung.She ran across the street as fast as she could towards him,lying in the ground.3 gunshots wounds...2 on the left shoulder...1 in the chest.

"Call 911 now!" she barked at her neighbours and the people around her.They obviously heard the gunshot and jumped out of bed to see what happen.They began talking and asking qestions all at once. The voices around her seems to fade away as she call Jim Brass,"JIM!Get over here now..Gil's been shot..at my place...".She end the conversation before Brass could even say a word.

"Gil...." She brush away the hair that covers his forehead.

~Finally here once speak to me

You are the light that's leading me to the place
Where I find peace again~

"Cath....I don't think i'm gonna make it..."

"Don't say that...don't you DARE say that...". She puts both of her hands on his chest..trying her damnest to stop the bleeding.But she fail miserably...blood flow rapidly.Her hands are now covered with blood..Gil's blood.

"I...I never told anyone about this..but I...."Gil tried to talked between cough....blood slowly oozing out from his mouth.

"Shhh..it's gonna be ok.Don't try to talk...We got plenty of time for that later",she said with a small smile on her lips, trying to ease the tension..the pain...

"The dude got away,miss.We lost him.We tried to catch up to him,but..."said one of her young neighbour.

"Dammit Jim!Where the hell are you?", she growled under her breath. Gil puts his hands over hers on his chest.His touch feels so cold,she thought as she chocked back a sob....She has to be strong...for both of them.

"I want you to know..you're the best thing that ever exist in my life.Your presence is my life,your soul is my breath.I may not show it to you but it's there..in my every heartbeat..." his voice sounds so breezy and soft as it begin to faltered.

"Not another word from you,mister.You have to relax till the freaking ambulance gets here.WHAT'S TAKING THEM SO LONG??!!" she lost her cool...fear embraces her.

And not be moved by it
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this~

He squeeze her hand..as if to get her attention.

"I'm so cold...."

"It's gonna be ok,Gil.I promise...I never let you down before and i'm sure as hell not gonna start now..." she said as tears roll down her cheeks.She leans down so that her forehead touches his.She can barely hear him breathing anymore...she's losing him and she knows it.She begin to cry so hard her whole body is shaking.She shuts herself out from her surrounding...all the talking...whispering...crying...

"My life began the day i met yo.I'm thankful that God sent you to me to show me what's life is al about.You fill my life with so much colour and sunshine that i feel content every minute.I'm intoxicated by you..."

"Don't talk like that,Gil.Please...don't talk as if it's gonna be the last...as if i never see you again..."

"My only regret in life..is that...i never get the chance to tell you how i really feel..."He cough and grasp for last breath.

"Look at me,Gil!Stay with me...you have to hold on just a little while,you hear?You have to hold on..for me.And for Nick,and Sara,and Warrick,and Gr..."

"I love you..." and the hands that held onto hers so tight just a moment ago touch the ground...

"NO!!Don't do this to me...don't do this.Don't leave me here.."She cradle him close to her chest...to her heart,rocking back and fourth,shaking him as if to wake him up from deep slumber.

"How do you expect me to go on with my life if you're not in it?I'm a lost soul without you.I fall without my wings.Come back to me please!Please,i beg you...come back to me.I love you so much it hurts!Please...come back", The last word caught in a sob..she wept..she cried...She didn't hear the siren of the ambulance nor her surrounding for that matter...she's caught in her own world...grasping into emptiness...

"Cath!" Jim Brass called out as he ran toward her.When he put his hand on her shoulder only then she return to the real world.She looks up to face him.

The look on her face and the emmptiness in her eyes says it all.Jim shut his eyes as if to hold back his tears..he fail...tears clouded his vision.

"I lost him..I fail...I love him and now...he'll never know..he'll never know...",she said softly thru her tears,all the while caressing Gil's face..as if to memorise it for eternity.

She leans down toward his face and whispered the 3 words she should have said a lifetime ago," I love you" and touch her lips softly to his.....

You're everything.. everything~
