I look up from my overdue paperwork and there she stood, leaning against the doorframe. She looks gorgeous as ever, wearing a peach colour jacket with white tank top and pants to match. Simple, chick, elegant. Catherine Willows.

"Gil?"

"What? Oh, nothing. Just…you know, paperwork and stuff."

"Oh, come on, Gil. Paperwork and stuff can wait. Let's grab something to eat. You must be starving. I know I am."

That's just so Catherine. She's just so…sharp and she knows me all too well. She's smart, she's fun, she's beautiful, well, that goes without saying but her beauty is more than just her looks. Everything about her is beautiful. How can I *not* love this woman?

"Earth to Gil. Come in, Gil!"

"Huh?"

"What's with you? Are you all right? You seem…distracted."

Busted!

"Me? Distracted? No, no. I'm good."

"Well, okay. If you say so. So, how about it?"

"It?"

"Food, Gil, food. You're familiar with that word, I hope."

"Very funny. Yes, I am very familiar with that word, thank you. But no, I think I have to pass. As you can see, I'm a bit tied up here."

"It can wait! Come on. My treat."

"Tempting, but I still have to say no."

"You sure?"

"I'm sure."

"Okay, then. But if you need any help with your work or with your distracted little state, I'm your girl. Just let me know. I'm just a phone call away."

`I'm your girl'. Wow. I wish she really mean it. It has a nice ring to it, don't you think? Like a music to my ear, like the air that I breathe, like…

"See you later, Gil."

Snap back to reality. I watch her walk away. She looks at me over her shoulder and gives me a sexy wink.

I sigh. Yup, that's my Catherine all right.
