It's a slow night. With nothing to do but tons of paper work, Nick, Warrick, Sara and Catherine together with Greg are all gathered up in the break room and are currently engaged with a conversation while Grissom is seated by the end of the table doing his advanced level crossword puzzle.

"Hey Gris remember the other day you told me you owe me one?" said Nick as he turned his attention to his supervisor who has been quiet and minding his own business all night.

Catherine is now very busy giving shopping tips to Sara, so both women are oblivious to the mischievous look Nick, Warrick and Greg are wearing.

"Yes why?" asked Grissom as he places his crossword puzzle down, trying to think what could Nick possibly want from him.

"Well, I'm gonna ask you to do something and you have to do it honestly" Nick stated.

Grissom raised an eyebrow at him.

"Come on Gris! You owe me remember?"

Grissom sighed and acquiesced to Nick.

"Go get it Greggo" Nick said with a grin.

Greg stood up with a smile on his face. When he went back he was holding an empty glass and a bottle of water.

"Cath. Sara. Sorry to interrupt, but we really need your attention right now."

Both women complied, they have been too engrossed to what they were talking about that they have no idea why Warrick and Nick are grinning, Greg's carrying a bottle and a glass and why the look in Grissom's face is a mixture of curiosity, annoyance and nervousness.

"Catherine could you please sit here" said Warrick as he pointed to the chair next to him.

"Grissom sit here" Nick pointed to the chair opposite Catherine's.

Catherine gave the Sara a questioning look,

"I have no idea what's happening" Sara defensively answered.

Grissom looked at Nick with a furrowed look.

"Okay well, Griss you have to remember that you have to be totally honest" said Nick.

"I will, I will. Now what do you want me to do?" Grissom asked.

Greg placed the empty glass and the bottle of water in front of Grissom.

"This water is the love you give, the glass is Catherine."

Catherine had a shocked look on her face at the mention of her name.

"What I want you to do is to pour the water into the glass which would symbolize the amount of love you will give or willing to give to her. Remember the unfilled part of the glass is the part you leave for yourself." Nick explained.

"So basically if you put it up to here…" Warrick pointed right at the middle of the glass, "that would be in equal half so you love her as you love yourself."

Catherine and Grissom were both stunned at this idea.

"Um. Uh. Guys. Could you please knock this off!" Catherine was about to stand up from her seat but Sara hold her down.

"You are not going anywhere" said Sara.

Grissom was also thinking of leaving but he knows that he's been cornered, if he don't do this the team won't stop bugging him and would probably end up having speculations that would turn into a the gossip of the month of the whole lab.

"Remember you owe me!" Nick reminded him. This reminder just added to all the reasons why he has no way out of this.

"An honest man is a noble man" Warrick quoted.

"Ready?" Greg asked enthusiastically

Grissom nodded.

Grissom got the bottle of water and started pouring it into the empty glass.

Everybody was watching the water as it entered the glass intently. The moment it got passed the half of the glass everybody's jaw dropped and eyes widened.

The time Grissom stopped, all the water from the bottle is now transferred into the glass, and the glass has been filled up to the brim.

Warrick, Nick, Greg and Sara all grinned at the sight of this, Catherine on the other hand haven't recovered from her state of shock yet.

"You okay Cath?" Nick asked.

Catherine abruptly closed her hanging open mouth, and nodded, "Um. Uh. Yeah. Yeah."

"Cath, now it's your turn" said Warrick

"Huh?!"

Catherine received nothing but mischievous grins.

"If that's the love Grissom is offering you, how will you take it?"

Catherine glanced at everybody in the room, then she looked at Grissom and the glass of water in front of her. She took the glass and drank it.

And so she gulped in all the water with one single shot.
