Catherine smiles at Gil as he spins her around the dance floor," I love you"

"I don't know. I guess that's the nickname I liked best for you"

"Baby you can call me anything," he leans down and kisses her," I love you Catherine Grissom"

"I love you too Gil Grissom," she rests her head against his chest and sighs thinking back on their past.

Gil whispers into Catherines ear," On 3 I want you to run"

"Gil I'm not going to leave you"

"This is about me Catherine. Run and don't look back until you and the baby are safe please"

"I don't wanna lose you"

"You won't. I promise I'll be out of here in no time and I'll take you out to eat," she smiles through the tears and kisses him," I'm coming back in if you don't come out soon"

"Bring somethin' we can use," he smiles at her," 1.....2.....3!," Catherine takes off running a few bullets chasing her but never hitting her. She collapses into Jims arms and sobs," You........have to.........get him........out of there"

"I know. Go see the EMT's and I'll see what I can do"

"Okay," she stands straight up to see the EMT's and passes out.

Catherine bears down screaming one last time and then their baby is born. Gil kisses her forehead as tears slip out of both their eyes. She looks up at him and wipes his tears away," I thought I was the only one in this family who cried"

"No," she smiles and kisses him. Soon a nurse hands them their crying baby boy," Hey pretty boy"

"He's perfect," both of them are crying. Catherine starts nursing him and Gil kisses her," You did great"

"Thank you," she wipes her tears away and looks up at Gil," What do you think we should name him?"

"I don't know.....what about something that could be CJ?"

"Carmine Joseph Grissom," she looks up at him and smiles," That's what I wanna name him"

"Okay"

Gil runs his thumb over her lower lip earning a shiver from her," Is this okay?"

"I promise," he leans down and kisses her. She pulls him closer and moans," That was way better than okay"

Catherine looks at Gil and smiles," Love you"

"Love you too," he starts tickling her and she starts laughing rolling onto her back. He stops and rests his head on her stomach," Gil?"

"Yeah Cath"

"I would die for you, kill for you, lie for you, anything as long as you aren't harmed"

"Thank you"

"It needs no thanks"

He pulls her into his arms and she sighs," You're my hero Gil"

"You're my hero too Cath," she smiles and kisses him," Let's go on vacation......to Hawaii all of us"

"Okay," she runs a finger across his lower lip," You aren't listening to me are you?"

"No," she shakes her head and he laughs.

Gil kisses the scrape on their sons knee," Why don't we go see if mommy can patch it up with a band aid"

"Mmhm," he picks him up and carries him into the house and sets him on the counter," Cath baby I need some medical help here"

"Hang on," soon Catherine comes in with a first aid kit and starts patching up CJ," Where are the girls?"

"Playing in their cribs. Will you go get them dressed?"

"Yeah sure," he kisses her forehead and goes upstairs.
