A woman who looks no older than 29 walks out on the stage in a green sweater and black pants," Ladies and gentlemen I would like to welcome you to Butterfield Academys 15th annual academic night. Tonight you will hear speeches from the 9th grade class on anything they wanted really. They have spent 4 months working on these and a lot of work, time, effort, and research went into these. I hope you enjoy them just as much as I watched them put them together. So doing the first speech of the night is Lindsey Grissom reading her speech on Katherine Hepburn," Lindsey walks onto the stage in Chuck Taylor black high tops, jeans, a baby blue tshirt, and a large leather jacket," I know my attire may not be tottaly appropriate for now, but I have to leave after I'm done. I've also decided to not inform you on Katherine Hepburn. Instead I'm going to tell you about my mom.

"She was born in Montana in 1963 in March on the 26th. As she grew up horses and music consumed her life. At the age of 14 she had been playing the snare so long that the band director from Atlanta AT asked her to play with them so after spending 2 years in Atlanta she moved herself back home but it just wasn't the same. At the age of 17 she moved to Seattle with her rock star boy friend and a year later they seperated she treked back home and no one was there so her next stop was Vegas. After waitressing for a year and getting an apartment she started to dance. And then she met this guy. They started dating, then they got engaged, then marriage, and ending with me. He was abusive to her and after 8 years of marriage they got divorced after she caught him cheating on her. Still working as a CSI level 3 she married her best friend and supervisor after her ex husband died. They had a set of twins, a boy and a girl, Benji and Sam. After a year of marriage she found out that her father was Sam Braun. Last year my grandfather died of a massive heartattack and she inherited everything. After some major roll changes at the Crime Lab she supervises grave and runs the family hotels. 15 minutes ago the hospital called me. My mother is in surgery trying to have a bullet removed from her. She's 8 months pregnant. At the moment I am the only thing she has. My dad is in Florida at a conference and my siblings are with him. At any time tonight I can lose my mom and my baby sister. My mom has inspired me my whole life and I just wish she could be here. There are copies of my originally planned speech by my board. I will not be able to answer any of your questions tonight. Thank you," she walks off the stage and everyone stands up and applauds. She runs out of the school and gets in her car. After the short drive to the hospital she goes in," Can I ask where Catherine Grissom is"

"She is...the doctors are finishing her up in surgery and they are moving her to room 1587"

"What about the baby"

"Delivered by C section 7lbs 5ozs. Baby girl in the nursery"

"Thank you," she runs up to the nursery and a few nurses are taking care of the babies. She goes in and smiles," The nurse downstairs told me baby Grissom's in here"

"You are..."

"Her older sister," she shows the woman her lisence," Here," she goes to one of the units and lifts up a baby in a hospital onsie and a pink cap on her head," Oh my god," she takes the baby and smiles down at her. She has strawberry curls and baby blue eyes. Lindsey smiles at her," You are such a pretty baby yes you are"

"Is there a name picked out"

"Sorry"

"Does she have a name"

"Cat. Catherine Anabell Marie Grissom"

"Okay," she writes it down on a card and slips it into the unit. Lindsey places her back down," When was she born"

"5:38 pm"

"Thanks I'll call down in a bit"

"Okay," she walks out and goes down to Catherines room where her mom is now laying and a doctor is checking her over," How is she"

"She should wake up in a few minutes. We got the bullet removed didn't hit anything major so she should be fine soon"

"What about the baby"

"She won't be able to breastfeed for awhile but other wise....the baby should take a bottle and after awhile if she wants to she can start breastfeeding the baby"

"Thank you doctor," he leaves and Lindsey sits by Catherines side," Mom you awake"

"Y....yeah," her baby blues open and Lindsey smiles at her," Hey how you feeling"

"Like shit"

"You got shot and they got the bullet removed no problems you should be fine in a bit," she grabs her hand," What about the baby"

"She's fine they delivered her by c section and she's in the nursery now"

"Did you name her"

"Yeah. Catherine Anabell Marie Grissom"

"Has anybody call your dad"

"I'll call him in a bit"

"Honey don't cry," Catherine wipes away her tears," Don't die on me mom"

"Never honey," Lindsey picks up the phone and calls the nursery. Soon a nurse comes in with a pink bundle and hands her to Lindsey," Thanks," she walks over to Catherine and sits down next to her," My god she's gorgeous"

"You did good mom. Real good," Catherine carefully takes her, the pain killers kicked in. She starts crying and Catherine gives her her breast," Shhhh honey it's gonna be okay," there's a knock on the doorway and Lindsey looks up," Johnny"

"Hey I wanted to make sure you guys were okay"

"We're doing good," he comes in and hands her a tape," Here one of the parents gave me this it's a copy of your speech"

"Pop it in," he puts it into the VCR and they watch Lindseys speech," Honey that was amazing"

"Thanks," Catherine hugs her," I love you so much honey"

"I love you too mom"

"I'm gonna get going okay"

"Why don't you stay for a bit you're practically family"

"You sure"

"Yeah"

"Okay," he sits down and they start talking.

Around 6 am the next morning Lindsey and Johnny are curled up in the spare bed asleep, Catherine is holding her daughter close and Gil walks in," Hi"

"Hi. Where are the twins"

"At your moms," he sits next to her on the bed," Are you okay"

"Yeah the doctors got me taken care of"

"Baby"

"Girl, Catherine Anabell Marie Grissom"

"We can't call her that can we"

"We can call her Bell or something"

"Okay," he kisses her forehead and lifts Bell out of her arms," Hey sweet heart"

"I'm gonna be in here till tomorrow and out of work for a while"

"Okay," Bell grabs his pinky," You did great Cath"

"Without you it wouldn't have been possible," she gurgles up at them and he smiles," You're such a pretty little girl yes you are. Such a pretty little girl"

"She's our pretty little girl," Catherine smiles at him," I love you"

"I love you too honey"

"No more kids okay"

"Okay. I'm never leaving you again you get into to much trouble"

"I know I need someone to punish me"

"1 more"

"Okay one more," she smiles and life goes on like it should.
