Catherine walks into the CSI lab signing in and walks down the hall to her office. Along the way there are people looking at her with caution," Wierdos," she goes in and sets her bag on her desk and sits at her computer as Ecklie comes in," Willows"

"Yeah?," she spins in her chair and props her feet on her desk," Can I help you?"

"There have been some.....circulations..."

"Rumors"

"Yes I believe you could say that....anyway these rumors have provoked some questions around the lab and many have been directed back to me by the sherriff."

"Can you get to the point?"

"There are speculations that you have started your old....."

"Don't even go there Conrad"

"We are random drug testing you. You need to see Mia in the lab and give her a donation"

"What the hell. You cannot even accuse me of doing that!"

"Now Willows!," Catherine storms out of her office and into the DNA lab," I take it you heard?"

"Yeah and I don't mean to be short but can we do this quick?!," Mia sets her up and draws her blood and starts running it. Catherine wraps her arm with gauze and storms out of there into her office where Ecklie still resides," What else could you possibly want?"

"Ty Kapelos"

"What does Ty have to do with any of this?"

"Found dead early Monday your prints everywhere and it has come to our attention that you had a lawsuit against him"

"TY'S DEAD!!!!"

"Yes"

"Ty Kapelos?"

"Yes Catherine things are not looking good for you, as of now you are being taken into custody," a cop about ten years younger than Catherine comes in," Catherine Willows you are under arrest for the murder of Tyler James Kapelos. You have the right to remain silent if you refuse that right anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney if you cannot afford one one will be provided for you. I have read you your rights do you understand them," Catherine nods and the last click of the handcuffs sends her stiff. They start marching her down the hall she sees Gil and looks at him pleading at him with her eyes to get her a lawyer.

The door to the interrogation room swings open and a man looking about 50 walks in," Kurt Grater Miss Willows attorney"

"Kurt what are you doing here you're Sams attorney?"

"Exactly

"I have been briefed on the evidence what has led you to believe my client has murdered the deseased"

"There were extesive amounts of fingerprints, vaginal DNA samples, blood samples and her prints covered the gun used to kill him. That is sufficient evidence"

"I did not kill Ty"

"Catherine....."

"If you must know okay on Sunday night I was in Reno with my father and on Monday I was at my OBGYN's getting some tests run"

"What kind of tests?"

"None of your buisness detective"

"Kurt

"If you must know I'll explain it all. Three months ago I filed a lawsuit against Ty for using some photos of me in promotions of the club. Everything was going well in court I was hoping to have it settled in a month like it would have been. I....went to Reno with Sam Braun on Sunday to go to his casino he opened a few years ago. We were having a patch up session I guess you could say when somethings came to my attention and I came home set on an appt. with my doctor. That day when I was in his office he had confirmed my suspicions. I'm 6 weeks pregnant"

"Who is the father?"

"I don't feel comfortable revealing that at the moment"

"Do you know?"

"Yes I do, but I don't feel comfortable revealing the paternity of the child inside of me"

"Have you told him?"

"Yes I have"

"Did you go see Mr. Kapelos at any time?"

"I went to his apt. Sunday morning for about 30 mins trying to get him to settle"

"Did you commit any sexual activity?"

"I.....He said he would settle if I gave him a lap dance and after about ten minutes we got in a fight he swiped my nose and it started bleeding....he wanted to go further than a lap dance and I grabbed a gun and threatened to shoot his dick off. I left and went to Reno the only thing you can get me for is nothing I was pulling self defense"

"We have sufficient evidence that says otherwise"

"I don't give a damn"

"Catherine......"

"You have nothing. Nothing what so ever and if you really wanna catch who did this I suggest you go get grave and have them rerun the investigation"

"For now you are under arrest and will be placed in a holding cell," Catherine gets pulled up the cuffs put back on her. She gets taken to a holding cell and locked in. Leaning her head against the wall she moves her hand under the thick sweater she was wearing and holds it to her still flat stomach. Gil comes over," Hey how you holding up?"

"Good under the circumstances"

"How's the baby?"

"Fine," she stands and walks to the bars grabbing his hand," I didn't do it Gil you've gotta believe me"

"That's why I'm here, they have a judge ready for tomorrow afternoon"

"They can't do that"

"They've started rushing it so we don't get a hold of it"

"Well how bad is it going to be?"

"A lot of people think you did it"

"Do you?"

"I don't know anymore"

"Gil," she drops his hand and looks at him accusingly," You can't think I killed Ty"

"I don't know what I think"

"I can't believe you....I can't believe you," her eyes fill with tears," What do you expect me to believe Cath?"

"ME GIL!"

"Catherine..."

"I am not.....Gil I......How could you think that?"

"It's what the science says"

"Well then see what the science says when I walk down the street in a couple months. Get the fuck out," she pulls her knees to her chest on the bench and watches him walk away. Soon Warrick and Greg come in and she looks up at them," Is it true Cath?"

"About what?"

"You're pregnant"

"Yeah can you believe it? I find out I'm pregnant and then I get arrested for murder"

"If it helps any we don't think you did it even if you did fail the test"

"Thanks guys," she smiles at them," If they let you off how long untill you're back?"

"When this is over with and if I get off I'm giving my two weeks and I don't know what I'm gonna do after that if there is an after that...."

"We'll help you Cath. Somehow"

"Thanks guys," she smiles at them and they smile back then leaving. She lays down on the hard bench and falls off to sleep.

*FLASHBACK*

Catherine walks into the club in jeans and a sweatshirt. She goes to the bar," Can I get a shot of vodka?"

"Sure," she accepts the shot and knocks it back," Hard night?"

"It's going to be," she goes backstage and puts her bag in her locker. She pulls off her sweat shirt and takes her sports bra off putting on one of the clubs bright red lace ones. She pulls her jeans off and then grabs a red thong out of her locker slipping it on. She applies the heavy makeup for the job and curls her hair. The post goes out over the intercom and Catherine snaps a necklace around her neck. (She grabs it as she's curled up asleep) She walks out onto the stage with two of her friends at the club and they start dancing to the fast beat of the music. After she finishes her dance they break off for lapdance rounds. She picks up a few three minute ones but then a set of deep blues catch her eye. She walks over to him," You wanna dance baby?"

"N...," he looks up into her pale blue eyes," How much?"

"3 for 200 and 10 for 600"

"You take cash?"

"My favorite kind of tender," she grabs his hand and drags him back to the room pushing him back into the chair," So what's it going to be?"

"1200"

"You got all cash?"

"Yeah let's just say you caught my eye yesterday...."

"I'm glad, it's my last night here"

"Maybe I'll see you around?"

"Maybe, I'm going to the crime lab"

"I work there"

"You do?"

"Yeah maybe I'll see you?"

"Maybe," she straddles him and he puts his hands on her waist," No touching"

"Not even once?," he looks into her blues and she falls deeper into them," I guess once," her hips start slowly moving and she looses all inhibition and she leans down and kisses him," Forget the money"

*END FLASHBACK*

Catherine shoots up and she's sweating. She looks around her hand still clutching the necklace," Gil," it comes out as a breath and she burries her head in her hands crying.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury have you reached a verdict?"

"We have your honor"

"On the count of murder in the first degree of Tyler Kapelos how do you find the defendant Catherine Willows?"

"We find the defendant.....innocent," the court room starts talking," Order order," he bangs the gavel and everyone quiets," Congratulations Ms. Willows. I am issuing that the LVMPD and the Criminalistics Bureau make a public apology to the fact that Ms. Willows was falsely arrested and falsely accused"

"Yes your honor"

"Court is ajourned," Catherine smiles and wipes the tears from her eyes. Lindsey shows up, tears in her eyes," MOMMY!!!," she runs to Catherine and launches herself into her arms,"I'm here baby I'm here," Catherines tears start flowing again onto Lindseys blonde hair," I've got you honey I'm not going any where," she sits onto the chair and rocks Lindsey in her arms," I missed you sooo much mom"

"I missed you too baby"

"Catherine....," she looks up at Gil and smiles softly," Hey"

"Hi"

"Linds why don't you go find Aunt Nancy and Grandma and we can go get some ice cream, I need to talk to Uncle Gil"

"Can Grandpa come," she looks at Lindsey like a crazy person and then she sees Sam," Sure baby"

"Okay," Lindsey gets up and walks off. Gil sits down next to her in a chair," Catherine...."

"I'm leaving for a month"

"What???"

"I've handed in my two weeks then I'm going to Miami for a month"

"Catherine...."

"Gil, baby, it's nothing against you, but I just need sometime to think. I failed my drug test because I went to some coke covered apartment, I was arrested for murder, framed by my doctor because I didn't give him a lap dance, and among all other things I'm pregnant"

"What about the baby?"

"We're still going to have it no doubt. I just really need to sort my head out and I can't do it here. And when I get home we can have our baby, go to Paris, get married, what ever you want just give me some time"

"Okay," he looks away and she directs his face back to hers and kisses him," I really missed that"

"Me too"

"Well would you like to join us for ice cream?"

"Depends..."

"On what?"

"Can I kiss you when ever I want?"

"I guess," she laughs and they get up walking over to where their group had formed.

"I don't want you to go," Gil looks down at Catherine in his arms. She strokes his cheek," I don't want to have to go, but I need to"

"I'm gonna miss you"

"I'm gonna miss you too babe," she leans up and kisses him and wipes the tears from his eyes," I'll be home in a month and I'll call you everyday. If you need anything just call me. I wrote all of Lindseys appointments down and if by some odd change of events she gets her period I wrote that down too"

"You mean she hasn't...you know?"

"Not yet, but if she does while I'm gone you can handle it you dealt with me"

"But she's your daughter"

"I know take care of her. I'll call you when I get to Horatio and Calliegh's house okay?"

"Yeah. When's your return flight?"

"On the 3rd. We leave at 4am and I should land about noon and I expect you to be here"

"Don't worry I'll be here," he leans down kissing her one more time as they call out boarding for her flight," Don't ever forget that I love you because that's never going to change. And we're having a baby okay?"

"Okay"

"Science sometimes lies. I never have. At least not to you"

"I've figured that out the past few weeks," he holds her close in his arms one more time," I've gotta go"

"I know," she grabs his hand," Don't ever forget"

"I won't," she walks off and lets go of his hand when she can't hold on anymore. He leans against the pillar as Lindsey walks over to him grabbing his hand," Let's go home"

"Where do you wanna go?"

"Let's go back to our house you can keep it clean. Okay?"

"Okay does your mom have any of my clothes clean?"

"She did them last week and they're put away"

"Okay come on Linds"

Catherine gets off the plane and sees Horatio and Calliegh. She smiles and goes over to them," Hi how are you?"

"Great you?"

"As good as I can be at the moment. Hormones screwing with me I cried almost the whole way here," she laughs," Hormones?"

"Oh my god...I forgot to tell you guys when I called. I'm 4 months pregnant"

"Congratulations"

"Thanks alot I really need the support right now," she hugs Calliegh and Horatio," Listen how about lunch on the beach, on me, and we can catch up"

"That sounds great, I'm starving"

"Let's go grab your bags and we can go," they go grab Catherine's bags off of the belt and go out to their car," Nice wheels"

"Thank you," Catherine hands Horatio her bags as he puts them in the trunk," Thanks," she gets in the car with them and she leans up in between the seats," Do you have any idea where I can buy maternity clothes?"

"There's a couple stores in the mall a couple blocks from the house why?"

"I need to buy some maternity clothes. I got rid of all the clothes from when I was pregnant with Lindsey and I only have about another week in the maternity clothes I brought," she pulls her sunglasses down," We can go shopping tomorrow okay?"

"Sure," she sits back and opens her cell phone turning it back on. She notices a few voicemails and starts listening to them. The last one is from Gil she smiles hearing his voice," I figured you hadn't landed yet, but I just wanted to hear your voice. I don't know what to say except that I miss you and I wish you guys were home in my arms. I've taken a couple days off so give me a call whenever you get this," she dials his number and waits a few seconds before he picks up," Hey"

"Hey I just got your message"

"Sorry it was so depressing"

"It's okay. Why'd you take time off?"

"I need to. Maybe get some of your stink out of the house," she smiles and laughs," Oh I stink?"

"Yep"

"How's Linds?"

"She's at a friends house I just dropped her off a few minutes ago"

"Oh," she runs a hand across her stomach," What?"

"Nothing it's just the baby. It's moving again," she smiles," I have a doctors appt. when I get back we can find out what we're having"

"Twins maybe"

"I think we've already nixed the twin idea. I'm not showing that much"

"Sure Cath"

"Shut up it's all your fault anyway"

"It's my fault"

"Mmhm," she giggles and smiles at his huff on the other line," So what are you doing when you get back?"

"Working the hotels with Sam. Maybe teach a few classes at UNLV or WLVU"

"I wish you would just stay at the lab"

"I wish I could"

"How are you feeling...with the baby I mean?"

"Okay. Little queasy, but otherwise fine"

"That's good," the car pulls to a stop and Calligh cuts the engine," Listen I'll call you later tonight okay?"

"Sure"

"Love you"

"Love you more"

"I highly doubt that"

"Bye baby"

"Bye," she closes her cell phone and gets out of the car," You okay?"

"Yeah fine," they go into the restaurant and pick a spot on the beach. After ordering drinks Calliegh starts asking Catherine questions," So how long have you two been going out?"

"About a year and a half"

"How'd it start?"

"We were in Paris at the international forensics conference. Gil was speaking and he brought me with. We were at the museum one day and it just unfolded. We've been together ever since"

"What about the lab," Horatio asks her accepting the beer from the waiter," The lab isn't a priority with us anymore. After everything that happened I quit. Nothing is going to come in between us. He almost got fired when they figured out this was his baby and I wasn't going to let him give up"

"Lindsey?"

"She's happy," Catherine pulls out a bottle from her purse and puts 2 pills on the table," My life has become a living hell since all of this started"

"What do you mean?"

"Trials, the press on my ass for that," she takes the pills," The world finding out that I'm Sam Brauns daughter, illigitmate makes it all the more wonderful for them, and with me and Gil being in a relationship and the baby, the LVMPD putting one of their own in custody, not to mention she's pregnant. Nothing has been the same. I have to send Linds everywhere with bodyguards, I can't go anywhere without at least one and. I'm a prisoner in my own home. We don't even go out to dinner anymore really"

"Why?"

"We can't go where we want to. When we first got back from Paris he took me to N9NE at the Palms. Nice quiet dinner and we ended up down by the lake. And as the night kept going on we kept getting bolder and bolder. Finally we put all of the seats down in the back of the truck and we ended up making love until dawn. We always liked to go out there once a month on that day and just have some fun. But after they arrested me and he bailed me out we never got a chance to divert them and go down there before the trial started," she smiles and wipes the tears out of her eyes," And what do I do. Leave him in Vegas with my daughter and go to Miami carrying his baby"

"I think anyone would do what you're doing Catherine and I know Gil understands that"

"Thanks," she looks out at the ocean and smiles," He's everything to me and I just don't know what I'd do without him"

"What's wrong with Catherine?"

"We can't find her and......well she was a bit hysterical last night when you guys talked and........she's kinda been gone about 4 or 5 hours"

"She's been gone for 5 hours!?!?!?"

"Well yeah. She answered her cell once, but then turned it off she said she'd be back later"

"Have you tried targeting the signal?"

"Yeah......We were hoping that you could I don't know come down here you know Catherine better"

"I...I'll be there in about 6 hours just leave her for now I guess"

"You sure?"

"Yeah I'll see you in a bit," he closes his cell phone and walks into the break room. Everyone sits at the table and he drops the folder," Listen I have to go to Florida. Warrick you're in charge, have Greg pick up Lindsey from school and go back to Catherines house with her. I'll be gone for like 2 days okay?"

"Sure," he walks out of the lab and gets in his truck driving to the airport. On the way he had called and cordoned off round trip tickets and just had to pick them up. He walks to the gate and shows them his ID," Here's your tickets sir and we'll be boarding in 30 mins"

"Thank you," he grabs a seat by the entrance and waits for about 45 mins before stepping onto the plane and getting into his seat. After take off and the seat belt sign is off he grabs his laptop and opens Catherines AIM account and clicks on Callieghs screen name, OceanEyes74:

OE74: No, H has been walking along the beach seeing if she's down there.

B63: I'll be there in 5 hours I'm on the plane now.

B63: Trust me she can't. And if something happens to her or the baby.....

OE74: I know. If she's been kidnapped or along that line she's going to make sure that baby is fine. It's the one ray of light in her life at the moment.

He signs off of her name and on to his and starts talking to the sherrif.

"What did I do to deserve this," Catherine sits down on a washed up log on the beach infront of a museum that had a butterfly exhibit she had just looked at. She slides her hand into her back pocket and pulls out a long piece of paper that had been folded a few times. Unfolding it she smiles at the 3 pictures that line the page. Pictures of the baby boy inside her sucking his thumb," I don't know what I did to diserve you. I shouldn't even have you"

"Yes you should," Gil sits on the log next to her," Where have you been?"

"Around......looking at baby stuff, clothes, and I went to the butterfly exhibit," she smiles at him," You can't do this Cath. People start freaking out when a pregnant CSI goes missing with out a note and turns off her phone"

"Is that why you flew down here? To punish me like a kid?"

"No I wanted to find you and I'm the only one who could. Why?"

"I got restless.......and I guess I just wanted to get out to do something for our baby for once. I'm supposed to be enjoying this"

"Just let somebody know when you get the urge to do this okay?"

"Yeah," she leans into him and he runs a hand over her stomach," Well I'm stuck down here for another day what do you wanna do?"

"Baby stuff. And just spend some time with you," she kisses him," I've missed you"

"I've missed you too baby"

"I wanna go home with you," she looks at him with tears in her eyes," I don't sleep anymore. Most nights I walk on the beach or go for a swim. I'm afraid to close my eyes to blink"

"We can buy you a ticket later"

"I wanna go home now. Go get my stuff and be on the next flight home," she wipes at her eyes and he looks at her," You sure?"

"Yeah"

"Okay well then we better get going," they stand up and Gil pulls out his cell calling Calliegh," Hey I found her"

'Thank god is she okay?'

"Yeah fine. Listen I need you to get me the number for the airport"

'Okay I'll have it ready when you get here'

"Thanks," he puts his cell back as they drive through the streets of Miami. Soon they pull up to the house with all the lights on. Walking through the door. Catherine is automaticaly enveloped in a hug by Horatio," Hi"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah fine," he lets her go and she smiles," I'm fine really"

"Here's the number for the airport Gil," Calliegh hands Gil a piece of paper," Thanks. Cath why don't you go start packing," she turns around and looks at him," Will you help me? After you talk to the airlines?"

"Sure," she leans up and kisses him lightly then walks off to her room. Gil calls the airlines and gets 1 oneway ticket to Vegas before walking to Catherine's room finding her sitting on the ground against the bed with her head in her hands crying," Cath?"

"Yeah," she looks up at him with red eyes," You okay?"

"I don't know," he gets on his knees next to her," My life is so screwed up. I don't know what to do anymore"

"Have you talked to anyone about this?"

"No not really," she smiles weakly at him," Doesn't really matter now. It's going to get better right?"

"Yeah it's going to get better"

Catherine bears down screaming and clutches Gil's hand as she forces their baby boy out of her. The doctor holds him up crying and squirming in the afterbirth," Say hello to your baby boy"

"Oh my god," she lays him on Catherine's stomach and Catherine looks at Gil before reaching out and stroking their son's cheek," Hey Daniel"

"You did great Catherine," her doctor rubs her stomach softly and births her placenta stiching her up after," You wanna cut the cord Gil?"

"Yeah," Gil stands up and cuts the cord that connected Daniel to his mother for 10 months," Catherine we're going to check him over then you can have him"

"Okay," the doctor takes Daniel over to one of the units and Catherine looks at Gil softly smiling at him a second before yawning," We did it"

"Yeah we did baby," he kisses her slowly and strokes her sweaty strawberry locks out of her face," He's perfect Cath. Absolutely perfect," soon their doctor brings Daniel over and Catherine takes him and starts nursing him looking him over with her tired eyes. Daniel James Grissom had his fathers curls coupled with his mothers golden locks and a mixed set of blue eyes that stood out against the paleness of his skin along with his chubby pink cheeks and bright pink lips. Gil kisses his forehead softly and Catherine smiles at him," He's perfect"

"Yeah he is...our perfect baby boy"
