It was over. He couldn't do this anymore. Gil couldn't watch as she became involved with another man. A man who would inevitably break her heart, forcing him to pick up the pieces, and glue her back together only to be tossed aside when a new man caught her attention. He couldn't do this anymore. It ended today. He wasn't going to be there for her anymore. He couldn't. He couldn't do this. Not again. Never again. He couldn't. There was nothing left of him to give her, he had given it all. "Gil, did you hear me?" Catherine asked. "Will you do this for me? Gil didn't answer. He couldn't. Turning around, Gil walked away. He couldn't do this anymore. The End | ||
