I was watching the film 'Sliding Doors' earlier and I had a thought.

What if at some point in his past Grissom either did something or made a decision that changed everything? Would he still be evrybody's favourite CSI? Would he have ever met Catherine or any of the others and, if not, just how different would everybody's life have been?

You never know, maybe this'll get you lot thinking and we'll get some good fics out of it. I know i'm already working on mine.
