OK Nic and I have been thinking for a little while, I know scarry isn't it? :-) Well we've come up with a challenge, and it's going to take some help from those out there. And you don't have to be an author to participate.

OK here's the first part. We need people to submit a list of 5 words or phrases to either me or Nic. You don't have to be an author to do this, it's open to anyone. Just have them to us by next Thursday at 8 p.m. Eastern (before Recipe for Murder) :-) And that's all you have to do.

Now if you are an author and would like to participate in this challenge please let us know. After next Thursday we will hand out the words, 5 per author (and if you submit a list you will not get anything on your list back) The stories should be posted on July 4th, this gives everyone a nice amount of time to work on theirs and also coincides nicely with the general them of the challenge. So it should be a Gil/Cath fic obviously, although friendship is fine. Now the general idea of the story should be independence. They are celebrating the indepence of what ever you wish, wether it be the holiday or something a bit more personal. Any rating is fine, and any size is fine. But please try to hold off posting until July 4th. If you can't post on that day you can send your fic to me or Nic and we can send it to the list for you.
