In honor of Grissom's birthday (and my own), the challenge for August will involve birthdays. Here are the rules:

-the fic must be about one (or center on) one aspect of a birthday.
Examples are:
party hats
cake
wrapping paper
candles
be as creative as you want because once an aspect is claimed, it can't be used be used by more than one person. Email me when you know what you want to claim so I can keep track of what is taken.

-other things to include in your fic:
--the number 400 (as we're almost to our 400th member)
--the line "On the beach you steal the show" or some variation of it
(that's from the song Calender Girl and it's the line about the month of August)
