The challenge this month is to take part in the 50 fics challenge. Here is the rules:

Now this is a challenge. The date... Thursday, August 17, 2006. The day that Gil Grissom turns 50. How do we celebrate that day? 50 fics, for 50 years. The challenge is to post at least 50 Gil centric fics/drabbles on August 17. These don't have to be birthday fics, although those will definitely be accepted. New fics are nice, although if you want to post a chapter of your WIP on that day, that is definitely acceptable. What we do need though, is for you to tell me (Angie), off list, ahead of time that you are willing to participate and how many fics you want to write. The more the merrier. And you can increase the number of fics as time goes by. But we need this done so we have an idea of how many fics are going to be posted and if we are close to the 50 fic mark.

Hopefully we will get lots of participation and we will all have lots to read on that day.

Just remember... don't post your fic until August 17th. And for those not writing a fic for that day, remember to review the fics posted that day. There are quite a few first time writers posting, and a lot of people that haven't written any fics for a long time. And it's a great way for you to participate and encourage the authors to continue writing and post more stories, so it's a win-win situation.
