"Let's face it Gil, you're hardly spontaneous." She'd said The words echoed in his mind as he stood before the bathroom mirror. If she wanted spontaneous, then that's what she'd get. As the shift started, he was strangely absent, causing Catherine to seek him out in his office. He looked up from his paperwork, a smile playing around his lips. "Catherine." "The beard?" "Is gone." "Why?" "Why not." "Why now?" "You asked for spontaneous. This is what happens with spontaneity." "But?" "But think of the fun you'll have rediscovering the naked chin." He winked. "Breakfast?"
