She's caught between me and *him*, the one she always seems to run back to. Lindsey is brought up, as leverage perhaps. Will it work? ". . . for my daughter." She breathes, and there is what I interpret as sadness in her eyes, but I seem to be wrong about Catherine Willows as of late - almost as if I didn't know her anymore. I watch, a sharp pain in my heart which I try to ignore, as they walk off together, a breakfast promise. Family's stick together, right? It's at that moment I realize what I'll always be to Catherine: Her ex. --Finis--
