Feedback and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is always gratefully welcomed. Flames, on the other hand, will be stored in a special container so that I can cut my heating bills this winter. [I won't lie and say that feedback makes me write faster, 'cause it doesn't. ]

Disclaimer: The characters that you'd recognize and the concept of "CSI" are not mine. They belong to CBS, Jerry Bruckheimer, Anthony E. Zuiker, CBS, Alliance Atlantis, and their portrayers. I'm not making any money off of this story, and no copyright infringement is intended. Please don't sue... I'll return them when I'm done... probably in better condition than I found them in (my momma taught me well). Don't complain to me if they get lost in the mail... blame the United States Postal Service.

"Mom," Lindsey Willows screamed across the house. "Have you seen my red crayon?"

Catherine headed for the living room. "Why would I know where your crayons are?"

Lindsey shrugged her shoulders. "You are a CSI." Holding up her picture, "How do you like it?"

Catherine stared at the drawing for a while. "It's nice. What made you think of that?"

Lindsey grinned. "The teacher wanted us to draw a Christmas song. Mine's 'I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus.'"

Catherine chuckled, "That's nice, Linds. But how come Santa looks like Uncle Gil?"

Lindsey smiled a "cat-that-ate-the-canary" smile and left the room.
