Rating: Trainee Summary: Think the title covers it! Disclaimer: They're not mine A/N: Happy new year everyone!!! (well it is here, now) --- Ten He slips his hand into hers. Nine She squeezes it tightly. Eight They sidestep closer. Seven He turns to face her. Six She turns to meet his gaze. Five He smiles. Four She smiles back. Three They turn their bodies towards each other. Two The excited chatter around them increases in volume. One They close the small distance between them. 2007 Fireworks exploding overhead; the sky alight with streaks of colour, their lips meet in a tender kiss. Lips part, but not bodies. "Happy new year," he whispers. Light dances in her eyes as she smiles. "Happy new year." ---
