Fun and Games: Poetry & Limericks: Poetry

Together by Michele
I wrote this poem a few years ago and came across it again today. When I reread it, it made me think of Catherine and Grissom so I thought I'd post it here. This is the first time I've put any of my work out 'there' and I have a new found respect for all you regular authors... this is scary!

She wants to know you're there,
Experiencing, sharing every sensation,
Every emotion.
That you're giving and taking as equals,
Moving and feeling as one.

She wants you to touch her,
Gently, firmly,
teasingly, lovingly.
With long arousing strokes,
With quick, maddening brushes
of skin against skin.

She wants you to touch her,
Touch her everywhere, in everyway,
Until her flesh burns
And her blood becomes a river of flame.

Look into her eyes -
Speak a thousand words
that lips never need utter.

With your hands, sculpt her body
to fit against yours; enfold her,
press her against your bare flesh.
Let your bodies glide, gently,
Back and forth,
Skin to skin.

Fill her with your heart and soul,
as well as your body.
Make her feel she'll never breathe again -
And not care about it.

She wants to feel your body moving,
Slowly, possessively over her;
Feel like one half of a whole.

She wants to feel you within her,
Under her skin,
Inside her veins,
Drowning in the feeling of oneness.

She wants you to take her,
Take her to the heights of pleasure -
To splinter and fall;
To drift back to herself
on a sparkling sea of light.

She wants to know you're with her,
together in love.
