| Part 3 | ||
After a while, in the Lab. Greg: (sees Cath coming) This is no match. Cath: Please? Greg: I mean, 'no match'. U2 vs. Chemical Brothers, sure, but also your results. That Stiers guy's DNA is different by a good half. Cath: You mean that. Greg: Yeah, the killer. or the person who left those hairs is a relative of his. Cath: (mumbling) His sisters. (to Greg) Thanks. She leaves to the computer, where he searches for the crime scene of Ms. Stiers, the only things she knows about her was that she was Ted's wife and she blew up. Then up it came: The crime scene of Ms. Sarah Juliet Almond Stiers went up. It looked almost exactly like the crime scene they were dealing with. Same explosive used, same situation. The killer knew Ted was not going to be in the car. Cath: Oh my god, not another copycat. Gil suddenly "appears" behind her and says. Gil: What are you talking about? Cath lets out a little scream and turns. Cath: God, Gil, do you ever make any noise when you walk? Gil looks at her, a blush lightly reddening his face. "Why is he blushing?" Cath thought. Gil: I do. But you were so concentrated that I didn't want to distract you. He hoped that she didn't realize he had spent the good half of two minutes staring at her well-built petite form. Cath: Well, Gil, if it happens again, you're free to distract me as much as you want. But right now, look here. Gil looked at the computer. Gil: I think we're going to have a visit real soon. Cath: Boston CSI? Gil: You betcha. They're not going to let a crime identical to one that happened in their jurisdiction go. They print the information they need, turn the computer off and go back to Gil's office. As they arrive, the phone rings. Gil: Grissom. The head of the CSI Maron County, Boston, Unit, George German, says George: Mr. Grissom? I'm George German, head of the Maron County CSI Unit in Boston. We know about Maureen. Ms. Kramer's death. And, since it has ties with a crime that happened here, we'd send two CSIs of ours to help you in your investigation. Gil: (remembering the time Cath and Warrick went to Miami) Sure, no problem here, unless they'd want to take over. George: No problemo, Mr. Grissom. We're not the bossy kind. Our colleagues Jarod Greist, Marcus Jagler and Lucy Block will arrive tomorrow with the 8 o'clock plane. Gil: OK, so goodbye. George: Bye. They hung up. Cath: Cross-jurisdiction? Gil: Yeah.
