| PART 11 - URBAN LEGEND: THE BEST OF. | ||
She didn't know exactly where to drive, but a quick deduction told her she couldn't have been very far from the crime scene; she, like her absolutely-thankful-she's-departed sister, loved to see what she had done. So she could have hid in a car. Like hers. Shit. She didn't dare turning her head, for fear of being gutted, so she settled for looking in the rearview mirror. And, as 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart' came ironically on the radio, she noticed somebody on the backseat, with an axe. It was her. As the axe swung, Cath ducked, and began to drive in zig-zags through the luckily empty road, and then pushed hard on the brakes, sending Jamie flying through the windshield. The killer muttered 'I'll be back.' before desappearing into the night. Cath:Shit. She got out of the car as soon as she could. Cath: Stop! You're under arrest for the murders of Maureen Kramer, Juliet Almond Stiers and Cynthia Stires! she screamed, running to get her. But she had vanished. In the meanwhile. Mary Dougherty was the agent who was in charge of getting Theodore Stiers safe and sound to the hotel, and guard him, and she was driving her squad car until they heard a call coming from the radio. Radio: 55-Alan, 55-Alan, please answer. Mary: 55-Alan here. Radio: 55-Alan, there has been a murder at the hills, just a few metres off UNLV campus. Get there, as soon as you can. Mary: But I have been put in charge of getting a potential victim. The radio cut her off. Radio: Don't obey an order. Mary (under her breath) Dumbass. (normally, into the radio). Roger. (to Ted) I am afraid we will have to make a diversion. As you just had the plesaure to listen, we're gonna stroll off campus because of my idiot boss. Ted: Don't worry. My sisters seem to love bombs, so unless you come back, turn the key and it doesn't work, there's no danger in here. Mary: OK. They arrive to the place indicated in a minute. As Ted got hold of the door handle, Mary said Mary: Oh no, you won't. With a crazed psychobitch out there, I'm not going to risk your life; she may be trying to up the ante doing 'Urban Legends', so stay in the car. Ted: But. Mary: Don't worry. Then, she went to look for the body. In the meanwhile, Ted was getting bored and anxious, when all of a sudden, he heard scraping on the top of the car. Fear overriding him, he panicked and tried to tear the division grate away. The scraping continued for a little while, then stopped. And as it stopped, he remembered the legend. And saw his sister. He hid on the floor of the car, while Jamie wrote in something that looked like human blood 'Girls die better'. Then vanished, leaving a shocked Ted reaching his cellphone and calling for help.
