Other Information: Holds a doctorial degree, he has said he is a doctor of sorts before implying that he is not a medical doctor. It can probably be assumed that his doctorate is in entomology though this has never been stated in the confinces of the show.

He is the youngest coroner in L.A. history, at the age of 22. (In California there is no requirement for a Coroner to be a medical doctor) He was recruited 8 years later (at the age of 30) to run the Field Services Office in Las Vegas. At some point he worked in Minneapolis **Precious Metal**

Recruited Catherine Willows to the lab. We know in "The Execuction of Catherine Willows" that her rookie case was 15 years ago, so it's safe to assume that they have known each other for at least that long and probably longer.

He was also mentioned watching "The Wizard Of Oz" synched to the music of Pink Floyd and when visiting a rave he called it a "teenage wasteland" which Warrick then answer "Who" and Gil replies "yeah" (The Who wrote a song many people refer to as Teenage Wasteland... the song is actually called "Baba O'Reilly")
