Hair analysis
The first recorded investigation of a human hair was in 1861 by German scientist Rudolf Virchow who determined that a hair found on a victim was unique enough to match to the suspect. hair can be used to test the chemistry or toxicological content of a person, as well as using the root to test the DNA.
